Gary Melluish
April 1, 1954 ~ July 14, 2007

Born April 1, 1954 in Palo Alto, CA, Gary Melluish died tragically July 14, 2007. He leaves behind his wife, Nancy; daughter, Rozlyn; sister, Jane (Jerry); niece, Tara & nephew, Ryan; along with so many wonderful friends and associates, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Gary enjoyed life to the fullest in so many ways as possible from boating, skiing, golfing, fishing, hunting to spending time with family and friends. A memorial and gathering of friends was held Thursday July 26, 2007 at the Rancho Murieta Country Club.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gary Melluish Memorial Fund for the benefit of Rozlyn Melluish, El Dorado Savings Bank, PO Box 1340, Rancho Murieta, CA 95683.

The gathering at the Rancho Murieta Country Club was crowded with people from all phases of the insurance community as well as friends and residents of the Rancho Murieta community who had come to support Nancy Melluish and her family in this sorrowful time. Rozlyn Melluish, Gary and Nancy’s daughter, was the first to speak of her love for her Daddy and how she will miss him. Friends from Gary’s golf and hunting trips related their love and admiration for Gary. Mike Shepherd told stories that offered a glimpse of the personal side of his friendship with Gary and adventures they shared for the last 25 years.
