SCA President Art Coussoulis welcomed the crowd

President Art Coussoulis explained to the group that the Empire Ranch Golf Course proclaimed the SCA as "the best golf tournament" on their course. This year's tourney features a Magic Kingdom theme, and will benefit the Make a Wish Foundation.

A crowd of 100 claims adjusters and service providers attended the February luncheon meeting.

Three companies submitted bids in the silent auction for "Eagle" Sponsorship rights to the grand SCA Golf Tournament. JM Environmental was the winner in a sealed drawing.	John Moore, of JM Environmental, thanked the SCA for awarding his firm the high bid for the "Eagle Sponsor" for the 2008 SCA Golf Tournament. "We take nothing for granted," he said.

Frank Kern, PE, of Engineering Design & Testing Corp., discussed the hazards of potential landslides following fires such as California has been experiencing.

Newest SCA Board Member, Don Sams, of Sams & Associates Insurance Services.

SCABoard Member, Jon Aronson, discussed upcoming events.	SCA VP, Chris Yaw, brought forward the mouse prior to the "Eagle Sponsorship" award.	Board Members Steve Drake and Kelly Szymulewski ran the door prize drawings.	John Stackhouse and Denise Garcia (Central Coast Claims President) were among those in attendance.	Frank Kern included a useful PowerPoint presentation as part of his discussion on earth movement.	Shannon Enea, foreground, and CIndy Domingo at the February luncheon.
