Such Great Support from
SCA Members at CCNC

August 2008 Message
from SCA President
Art Coussoulis, CSAA

Congratulations to this year’s CCNC President, Bill Hanamaikai, and his planning committee for a job well done. As many of you already know and for those who do not, the CCNC is produced each year by the joint efforts of volunteer representatives of eight claims associations throughout Northern California, along with the statewide Calif. Assn of Independent Insurance Adjusters (CAIIA). They had a top-notch crew this year, including our own SCA Board Member and Past President, Joan Barrett, who Chaired the Education Committee.

This is a great opportunity to say “Thank You” to all the SCA members who supported and sponsored CCNC 2008. Let there be no mistake, your continued support is never taken for granted but always appreciated.

The venue, the Hyatt Regency Downtown, has already been booked for next year, returning to the traditional September dates, September 16-19, 2009.

I’ve been informed that a complete photo gallery from this year’s event has just been posted at: www.claimsconference.org.

As we begin to refocus our attention on the business of the SCA, I encourage you to consider stepping-up your role in the organization for 2009. We are at this time considering those interested in serving on the Board of Directors. Click here for the Nominations form.

Lastly, we look forward to resuming our regularly scheduled luncheon programs with this next luncheon meeting Thursday, August 14, 2008. We welcome attorney Carlos Poza, of Glaspy & Glaspy, who will share with us the latest in Construction Defect Litigation.
See you back at the main building at Lions Gate!

Regards,
Art Coussoulis
