The Sacramento Claims Association, the longest standing organization of it's
kind within the Sacramento California valley area, provides
continuing education, communications and networking for the
Casualty/Liability and Property insurance claims community.
Designed for the betterment of insurance company adjusters,
independent claims handlers, third party administrators and
municipality claims personnel, the SCA offers a number of resources to achieve it's mission.
Regular monthly luncheon
meetings provide a forum for educationally based speakers to
bring the membership current with the latest industry information and issues. The SCA is also dedicated to working with charitable organizations to help further their worthy causes. These include: Susan G Komen Society; Make a Wish Foundation; Acres of Hope,Toys for Tots, Blue Star Moms, and more.
Besides the business and educational
aspects of the organization, the SCA is
known for kicking up a good time, too. Our annual golf
tournament and dinner banquet invariably draws a sell-out
crowd. This year promises to take it all to yet another level, with proceeds going to Make a Wish Foundation.
In October, 2004, the Sacramento Claims Association merged with
the Property Claims Forum of Northern California, effectively strengthening the base for
both organizations. This merged group, still known as the
Sacramento Claims Association, offers a wider diversity within the
industry. This has proven a beneficial move for all concerned, with a stronger more vibrant organization growing as one.
Monthly meetings are now being held at the Lions Gate Hotel & Conference Center at McClellan Park - 3410 Westover St.
Sacramento, CA 95652 (map link) .
